The Grasty Family

Missionaries to Slovenia

July 24, 2011, John and Katie Grasty announced to their home church their desire to take the Gospel to the country of Slovenia in Central Europe. Months of preparations have been going on behind the scenes to prepare for this beginning—a bold advance of the Gospel into a cold, blind, and unreached country. But the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation…to everyone that believeth!

Propelled by the Gospel

Slovenia–a country of 2,000,000–with less than 2,000 believers.

If Jesus is who He says He is–the risen Christ–then we as believers ought be propelled around the world and around our neighborhoods to share Christ, even in the darkest, coldest environments.

May we take the initiative through the grace of God to carry the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Bible Speaks

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

– Jesus (Matthew 28:18-20)

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

– Isaiah 9:2

Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

– The Victors in Christ of Revelation 15:4

…and He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

– John speaking of Christ in I John 2:2

O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
Make known his deeds among the people.

– The Psalmist in Psalm 105:1
